1 John 1:7

If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another,
and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
1 John 1:6-7

Does "Walking in the light" make us deserving of the salvation that is ONLY found in
Jesus Christ? NO! this isn't about works...you can't save yourself!
only can find saving in JESUS!
We will never deserve salvation, never deserve the freedom from the chains of SIN, yet...because of His grace and abounding love we have it!

So though we fall.. we seek to be Christ-like and walk in the light, we seek to live for Him
because without Him all is meaningless! Does Christ not make us Holy? Did He die in vein?
Was the very wrath of God, His very white-hot justifiable wrath that was poured out on Christ
for our sins

....was it pointless?
....meaningless?
....it doesn't change a thing?

Fact is you yourself make it meaningless (for yourself)
when you don't seek to live and walk in the light!
When you refuse the change that is freely given and offered:
because you don't want to live for Christ,
you don't want to live for God, you want saving...you want salvation and freedom...
but you don't want to surrender the SIN...

You don't want to surrender to Christ,
it's like you want to say "thanks for freeing me from these chains"
but uh..."I'm just going to shackle myself back up if you don't mind"
you put your selfishness and sins you want to continue in...
above the Holy GOD and refuse the Holiness that is offered!

UnGodly Generation..WAKE UP!

Let not mercy and truth forsake you;

Bind them around your neck,

Write them on the tablet of your heart,

and so find favor and high esteem

in the sight of God and man.

Proverbs 3:3

To be HONEST I could give a flying squirrel what "man" thinks of me,

however the point of the scripture is show "mercy and truth"…

after all I don't care who you are everyone loves "mercy"

and while it seems a lot of people don't like the TRUTH of the word of GOD,

nobody likes to be knowingly lied to. bear with me here,

I'm going to make a point at some point and time..haha get it? ok sorry…I digress

Do not be wise in your own eyes; FEAR the LORD and depart

from evil. It will be health to your flesh,

and strength to your bones.

Proverbs 3:7

My son, do not despise the chastening of the LORD,

Nor detest His correction; For whom the LORD

loves He corrects, just as a father the son in

whom he delights.

Proverbs 3:11-12

"The world cannot hate you,

but it hates Me because I testify

of it that its works are evil"

John 7:7

Jesus said this to His disciples, and told them to go to

Judea for the jewish feast of tabernacles for He Himself

would not go, for it wasn't His time.

Now before I continue I want to clarify

something, Jesus Christ told His disciples "The world cannot hate you"

because at that point in time the disciples were just that.. disciples of Christ,

they followed and were learning from Christ. However Christ knew when

He returned to be with the Father God Almighty, that he wold send the

Holy Spirit to be with us and guide us that when we speak of the TRUTH

of the gospel that the world would indeed hate us that is why

he warned the disciples later..

If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you.

If you were of the world, the world would love its own.

Yet because you are not of the world, but i chose you out of the world,

therefore the world hates you.

John 15:18-19

Not to mention when Christ told the disciples at the time

"The world cannot hate you", Don't you know that Christ knew the disciples heart,

Christ knew that the jews wouldn't harm the disciples at this particular feast,

because He knew the disciples themselves wouldn't proclaim the TRUTH

so hence at that point and time "the world wouldn't hate them".

Just wanted to clarify so whoever reads this wont be confused..

so now I continue ..

So the disciples went by themselves, and in secret Jesus actually went to.

Now the jews were looking for Jesus, and they were arguing amongst themselves

about Jesus, and not one of the disciples spoke openly of Jesus

because they feared the jews.

Jesus however in the middle of the feast got up and went to the temple

to teach…and said..

"My doctrine is not mine but His who sent Me.

if anyone wills to do His will, he shall know concerning

the doctrine, wether it is from God or wether I speak on My

own authority.

He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but He

who seek the glory of the One who sent Him is true,

and no unrighteousness in Him.

John 7:16-18

You may be asking yourself now, "ok…and what is the point of all this?"…

Well to those of you who read my blog regularly you already know

that,..well…I've been slacking with the updates. Also if you don't already

know this then let me absolutely clarify this again...

I do not seek to be glorified with the website or this blog, I pray that

what is written is straight from GOD through the Holy Spirit and it is leading

me to post what Is posted. I'm sure that sounds insane to a lot of people,

and frankly I could careless because I am not seeking mans opinion

or approval I am seeking GODS.

Back in September I posted a blog called "Lukewarm Christians"

and needless to say ever since then, I've been running into more and more of this

very thing, and it is disheartening to say the least. This generation,

mine and the generation we are in, has become so fickle…so

unbiblical and unGodly that it is mind blowing. Don't get it twisted mind you,

there are some great young Godly men/women out there but generally

speaking mainstream Christianity is a total joke, and i'm not blind…I realize

this has been happening for a long time, and through the generations it

just gets worse and worse, and we are living in a time where the gospel

has become nothing but perverted and GOD has been turned into

some kind of universal unholy humanistic image.

I look at people like Leonard Ravenhill who has been with the Father since 1994,

who was crying out about how broken "the church" is…how unChrist like

the followers of Christ are and how unbiblical people have become, and almost

20 years later…look at us now…it's almost as if Ravenhill was before his time.

Or how about Jonathan Edwards? yeah I said it…Jonathan Edwards who people

only know as "Hellfire and brimstone preacher" but the fact is he was much

more then that, Edwards was one of the greatest theologians in American

History, but people don't like him because he talked about a nasty place called

Hell and well Hell doesn't exist in "popular/mainstream Christianity" today,

fact is the TRUTH doesn't exist in Christianity today at all.

You know how blessed we are? I mean seriously…you know how much

information is literally at our figure tips? This generation has computers/

cell phones,TV,Music, books,Internet ect ect… and everything is right in front

of us, we can research anything we want…knowledge in seconds!

We can read about GOD, we can read about great men of GOD or watch videos

or listen through ipods or Ipads or Iphones or Laptops, have thousands

of books at our finger tips with Kindle. Yet we are a generation that knows NOTHING,

while we are a generation that is blessed with so much technology

and knowledge, man perverts that. We don't use the technology to glorify

God or get to know Him more, we use it to look at porn or make money

or spend on frivolous things that wont last or talk about how awesome we are

or whatever. (by the way I'm not claiming perfectness I've struggled in these areas to,

I speak to myself just as much as you)

This generation needs to wake up! and those of us who call

ourselves "Christians" "Christ-like" better start freaking living like it!

I can't tell you how many people i've run into (in life or on Facebook)

who sit there and say "I'm a Christian" and then say and do

something totally contrary to it. Or people who claim they're "not Christian"

and then go on to tell people who are living "Christ like",

that they are not living "Christ-like" which obviously makes no sense whatsoever.

This generation above all other generations has not only a "I don't give a crap" attitude

but also an attitude of "All roads lead to GOD, and Jesus forgave us of sin

so we can continue living in it"…

The fact is…sin is justified and TRUTH is perverted, that sums everything up right

there. remember…

Let not mercy and TRUTH forsake you;

Bind them around your neck,

Write them on the tablet of your heart,

and so find favor and high esteem

in the sight of GOD and man.

Proverbs 3:3

"Mercy and truth" you see everyone wants mercy from GOD, deep down

nobody on earth has a problem with Christ dying for sins and GOD loving

them. What people have a problem with is Christ changing them, changing

the heart and everything they are, the holy spirit convicting them of sin

and them repenting and turning away from it. They want Christ's forgiveness

and love but they don't want the change and holiness that comes with it,

and it doesn't work like that. They want to still be of the world and

have GOD to, again doesn't work like that.

Do not be wise in your own eyes; FEAR the LORD and depart

from evil. It will be health to your flesh,

and strength to your bones.

Proverbs 3:7

FEAR the LORD? why? thats what this generation asks…why? it's

"I don't have to FEAR the LORD because he died for me and loves me and

he just loves me and I can do whatever I want" and depart from evil?

thats just crazy talk..Christ died so I can continue on being evil

because that makes sense doesn't it?

My son, do not despise the chastening of the LORD,

Nor detest His correction; For whom the LORD

loves He corrects, just as a father the son in

whom he delights.

Proverbs 3:11-12

Better believe nobody wants to hear this scripture either…

"Chastening of the LORD?" "Correction?"…no way…GOD is just love..

GOD doesn't care what I do as long as I just believe he exists.

Notice how the verse compares this correction like to the correction

of a Father to his son, spare the rod spoil the child ring any bells?

probably not to a lot of parents anymore because it's not the parents

running the household it's the Children. Kind of like how "The Children of GOD"

like to try and run the show themselves and make GOD into some wimpy

sissified universal humanistic GOD, but trust me when I say this…GOD

will not be MOCKED nor is He going to let the children run

His house hold if you catch my drift.

"The world cannot hate you,

but it hates Me because I testify

of it that its works are evil"

John 7:7

Notice here when you testify the TRUTH of the gospel of the Almighty GOD,

and how this world and it's works are evil YOU WILL BE HATED! When you

are actually living "Christ-like" and following in His steps and Preaching the

TRUTH FROM HIS WORD…YOU WILL BE HATED! are you persecuted?

are you hated? If you are living a life of not standing up for GOD and His TRUTH

that is in the WORD, if you substitute or try to sissify GOD…you wont be persecuted

the world will love you, so the question is…

Are you living for the love of the world? or are you living for GOD?

you can't live for the world and live for GOD, it's one or the other.

and for the record in no way shape or form am I trying to support a "Works based

system" by the grace of GOD we are saved, not by works. I urge you to take

the time to watch the following video, I also urge you to really use the

technology that is at your finger tips, ask GOD to reveal things through the Holy

Spirit and seek to know GOD more and more. We are blessed to have

such technology at our disposal we should use it to glorify GOD.

Giving into Fear(King Ahaz)

Then Rezin king of Syria and Pekah the son of Remaliah, king of Israel, came up to Jerusalem to make war; and they besieged Ahaz but could not overcome him. At that time Rezin king of Syria captured Elath for Syria, and drove the men of Judah from Elath. Then the Edomites(Israel) went to Elath, and dwell there to this day.

2 Kings 16:5-6

Assyria became a major power under Tiglath Pileser III and couldn't

be ignored, So Pekah king of Israel formed an alliance with Syria.

Now they demanded that Judah join their cause, their war against

Assyria. But King Ahaz of Judah declined, and in doing so caused

Israel and Syria to attack Judah and take the city of Elath.

Ahaz was trying to avoid war, hence his refusal to join with Israel/Syria

in their call against Assyria. However because he refused to join them

they came up against Ahaz and Judah.

The prophet Isaiah told Ahaz not to fear,to rely on God

and say to him: 'Take heed, and be quiet; do not fear or be fainthearted for these two stubs of smoking firebrands, for the fierce anger of Rezin and Syria, and the son of Remaliah.

Isaiah 7:4

However Ahaz gave into fear and instead of relying on God almighty..

he took matters into his own hands. Ahaz made a treaty with Assyria

(paid them to) and asked them to attack Israel, to which they gladly did..

(Fact is they were going to anyways so why not take money from Judah too)

So we see Ahaz trusted in MEN to save him and not GOD! O how often

we rely on people and things to save us and or get us out of trouble

rather then GOD. How often people ignore God, people, like Ahaz,

who claim to worship God but when STRIFE when TROUBLE

when SIN and FEAR come into play… how often we ignore God.

Fear of anything else except the LORD GOD almighty is a stumbling block for the weak, what FEAR I ask you, again besides the FEAR of the LoRD, should you have? If He is with us, who can be AGAINST us?

You don't prove your faith when everything is going right,

You prove it when everything's going all wrong!

Then he said, "Hear now, O house of David! Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will you weary my God also? Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.

Isaiah 7:13-14

In Isaiah 7:1-10:4 Isaiah rebukes king Ahaz of Judah for not putting his faith in God, and tells of the destruction of Damascus and fall of Ephraim(Israel) under Assyrian power. However Isaiah also offers Judah it's ultimate hope (IS. 7:14) "Immanuel" meaning- "God is with us."

The foretold prophecy of the virgin birth of immanuel himself Christ Jesus(Matt. 1:23)

The LORD of hosts, Him you shall hallow; Let Him be your FEAR, and let Him be your dread. (IS.8:13)

Ahaz was a fool instead of trusting in God He trusted in man(assyria)

to save him. Not only did Ahaz pay tribute but he built temple modifications that were Assyrian inspired(2 Kings 16:10-18)

Ahaz refused to listen to God who spoke through Isaiah, he gave into FEAR of the moment. Do not let worry and FEAR destroy your walk,

do not squelch the still small voice of God inside you.

If you refuse to listen, refuse to follow His word, His voice…

then just who are you following? think about it…

Follow the one from which salvation comes, and no other!

King Manasseh

Last blog I talked about King Hezekiah who did what was right

in the sight of the LORD, and who put his faith in God when

Assyria came and mocked God and came to trample upon

Jerusalem. He wasn't perfect, but what man is? King Hezekiah

did a lot of good for Judah, he tore down alters/high places that

were dedicated to other gods, He put Judah back on the right track,

and that was back to the one and ONLY God. He did a lot for the city

in general, for it's fortifications, He was the one to bring Judah's water source

from out side the city walls into the city through a massive tunnel.

When Hezekiah died his son Manasseh took over as king. Manasseh did not do right in the eyes of the Lord, in fact his reign was one of the darkest periods in Judah's history, if not the darkest, and he reigned 55 years.

Manasseh rebuilt the abominations his father tore down, in fact

no king of Judah would ever embrace the canaanite(and probably assyrian) deities as completely as Manasseh.

Moreover Manasseh shed very much innocent blood, till he had filled

Jerusalem from one end to another, besides his sin by which he made

Judah sin, in doing evil in the sight of the Lord.

2 Kings 21:16

Judah indeed was in a dark time, those who protested Manasseh's ways would have been killed, and it is very possible that the prophet Isaiah(as it says in rabbinical tradition) was one of those innocent that Manasseh killed. It is said that Manasseh gave the order to have Isaiah sawn in two while he was in a log.

Assyrian sources even mention King Manasseh of Judah as one of the 22 vassal kings. Vassal states to Assyria were forced to pay tribute and take loyalty oaths, demonstrating assyrian rulership. Assyria was essentially under control of Judah but they let Judah and the other vassals they had still practice their own religion and have their kings, Manasseh maybe wanting to prove his loyalty to Assyria adopted much of their cultic practices.

For he rebuilt the high places which Hezekiah his father had destroyed; he raised up altars for Baal, and made a wooden image, as Ahab king of Israel had done;

and he worshiped all the host of heaven and served them.

He also built altars in the house of the LORD, of which the LORD had said,

"In Jerusalem I will put My name."

And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the LORD.

Also he made his son pass through the fire, practiced soothsaying, used witchcraft, and consulted spiritists and mediums. He did much evil in the sight of the LORD,

to provoke Him to anger.

He even set a carved image of Asherah that he had made, in the house of which the LORD had said to David and to Solomon his son, "In this house and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, I will put My name forever;

"and I will not make the feet of Israel wander anymore from the land which I gave their fathers—only if they are careful to do according to all that I have commanded them, and according to all the law that My servant Moses commanded them."

But they paid no attention, and Manasseh seduced them to do more evil than the nations whom the LORD had destroyed before the children of Israel.

And the LORD spoke by His servants the prophets, saying,

"Because Manasseh king of Judah has done these abominations ( he has acted more wickedly than all the Amorites who were before him, and has also made Judah sin with his idols), "therefore thus says the LORD God of Israel: 'Behold, I am bringing such calamity upon Jerusalem and Judah, that whoever hears of it, both his ears will tingle.

And I will stretch over Jerusalem the measuring line of Samaria and the plummet of the house of Ahab; I will wipe Jerusalem as one wipes a dish, wiping it and turning it upside down. 'So I will forsake the remnant of My inheritance and deliver them into the hand of their enemies; and they shall become victims of plunder to all their enemies,

'because they have done evil in My sight, and have provoked Me to anger since the day their fathers came out of Egypt, even to this day.'"

2 Kings 21:3-15

This is where 2 kings ends talking about Manasseh. However the writer of 2 Chronicles reveals something the writer of 2 kings does not, and no not a contradiction but Chronicles just gives more detail in this certain area. the writers of 2 Chronicles and 2 Kings both agree and state the evil that Manasseh has done(Obviously not contradicting each other) both stating Manasseh did evil in the sight of the Lord.

2 Chronicles says Manasseh was carried off to babylon by Assyria, and there he was tortured, and it was in this torture that he humbled himself before the Lord, in fact it says he humbled himself "Greatly before the Lord" and the Lord heard his prayers and forgave him and brought him back to Jerusalem. Obviously we see Gods forgiveness here in 2 Chronicles, we see Manasseh being in the state of repentance and God forgiving. Manasseh was not someone who made a few mistakes, Manasseh was not a man who had faith in God, Manasseh was a blasphemer a murder of innocent blood who turned a whole country away from the one true God, and still he was shown mercy when he earnestly

sought the Lord God and repented of his ways.NOTICE what repentance here is…it is not only being sorry for what you have done,

BUT A TURNING AWAY FROM THE THINGS YOU HAVE DONE.

And the LORD spake to Manasseh, and to his people: but they would not hearken. Wherefore the LORD brought upon them the captains of the host of the king of Assyria, which took Manasseh among the thorns, and bound him with fetters, and carried him to Babylon.

And when he was in affliction, he besought the LORD his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers, And prayed unto him: and he was intreated of him, and heard his supplication, and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the LORD he [was] God.

Now after this he built a wall without the city of David, on the west side of Gihon, in the valley, even to the entering in at the fish gate, and compassed about Ophel, and raised it up a very great height, and put captains of war in all the fenced cities of Judah. And he took away the strange gods, and the idol out of the house of the LORD, and all the altars that he had built in the mount of the house of the LORD, and in Jerusalem, and cast [them] out of the city. And he repaired the altar of the LORD, and sacrificed thereon peace offerings and thank offerings, and commanded Judah to serve the LORD God of Israel.

Nevertheless the people did sacrifice still in the high places,

[yet] unto the LORD their God only.

2 Chronicles 33:10-17
